Learning is ongoing at the National Addiction Awareness Complex and guests will be able to work on awareness while enjoying a round of golf on a par 3 golf course at Awareness Chip & Putt.

Open 24 hours daily, 9- or 18-hole games will offer drug-free entertainment for all. Golf in an atmosphere free of smoke and all under lights, so the fun can continue into the night.

Unless inclement weather forces guests to turn to one of the many other attractions at the at National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area, the Awareness Chip & Putt will stay open all year long.

Kids and adults alike can enjoy an exciting game of Awareness Mini Golf at the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area.

The drug-free environment and on-hand security will make this a perfect play area for the kids. Older golfers can continue to play after the sun goes down. You won’t have a hard time locating our golf balls on the course, because it is illuminated for night play!

Those who work at resisting addiction know that one motivational aspect is to “keep your eye on the ball.” This isn’t just a nifty euphemism here at the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area. Those in recovery will be able to practice devoting their attention to that one driving goal at our Awareness Batting Cage and work on fine-tuning their mind as they engage in a lively sporting attraction.

But our Awareness Batting Cage isn’t only for those in recovery. Their friends and family will be able to use it to get some exercise amidst a day of learning and awareness-building.

Enclosed indoors, the Awareness Batting Cage is an attraction open all year long to visitors at the National Addiction Awareness Complex.

Awareness Driving Range

When the golf courses shut down due to weather conditions or for those looking to improve their swing and prepare for that upcoming big foursome, the Awareness Driving Range at the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area will be open year-round.

Golfers or those wishing to become golfers can work on perfecting, or developing a sure and steady swing. You can practice anytime since the range is illuminated.

The National Addiction Awareness Driving Range is the perfect example of “Action in Progress.”

The National Addiction Awareness Complex will leave nothing out in their efforts to provide guests with all forms of recreational fun in a park where drugs are off limits and nowhere to be found. To that end, they will include an invigorating Awareness Zip Line for thrill-seekers of all ages to enjoy.

Under lights and with the protection of trained security, the Awareness Zip Line will offer endless entertainment amidst an atmosphere of learning and awareness of sober lifestyle. The National Addiction Awareness Complex — where learning is stimulating!

Want more variety in your food choices? The Awareness Smorgasbord will have delicious choices of meat, vegetables, pasta, potatoes, salads, fruit and of course, desserts. Prepared in a sanitary, clean environment, our chefs will also have heart-healthy and gluten-free choices for your dietary needs.

Whether swimming, tubing, surfing, swinging or going down slides, guests will be secure in the fact that they and their children will be able to enjoy water park fun in a safe, secure environment with no threat of drug activity nearby.

Open all year with extended hours to accommodate the day tripper coming to the Awareness Complex.

Nestled in its own corner of the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area, the Awareness Restaurant Row will offer a variety of eateries that are sure to satisfy anyone’s palate, no matter what you are in the mood for.

Craving pizza? A hot dog? Your choice of fine-dining eating establishments or more casual dining spots will cater to your every whim — but with absolutely no alcoholic beverages served anywhere on the premises or permission of BYOB.

And whether you decide to eat inside or take your meals at an outdoor table, you will never have to worry about your food being spoiled by the presence of someone smoking or vaping.

Located near a convenience store, hair salon and fitness center, Restaurant Row is a section of the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area that offers all the appeal and opportunities found in a neighborhood strip mall — but in a safe and secure setting!

Awareness Ice Cream Parlor

An addictive substance that is virtually harmless — unless you eat too much of it — ice cream is one that you may indulge in at the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area. Cool off on a hot day with this icy refreshing treat, available in a variety of flavors.

Awareness 2nd Floor Offices

The second floor will house administrative facilities that offer services for the recovering addict in need of advice or assistance. Drug testing will be available for job applicants who need certification to get a new job, athletes who must satisfy school or recruitment requirements or anyone who needs to fulfil a court order. Always with respectful understanding, our staff will be here to lend a supporting hand to those in need. At the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area, we are building a caring place with feelings.

Amidst the fun and activities that make the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area a perfect spot for the those in recovery, their friends and family, a Soap Box in the pavilion offers a platform for speakers to give lectures or impromptu words of fellowship to those seeking a touch of encouragement.

It is the perfect place to spark the curiosity of non-addicts who might overhear something that makes them want to learn more about how they can help and support their loved ones. Learning is motivational at the National Addiction Awareness Complex.

Awareness Recovery Clubhouse

The National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area will offer opportunities for recovering addicts to retreat to a private club house, where they can meet with sponsors or get together for group sessions surrounded by nature’s health and beauty. What better place to conduct a recovery meeting! No bland “institutional” walls here, this venue is a delight to the senses and makes recovery an adventure.

Awareness Billiard Chess Hall

For indoor activities, the National Addiction Awareness Complex will have you covered! Enjoy billiards without the bar scene in a pool hall that stays open around the clock, seven days a week! Practice your hand-eye coordination on over 20 tables or take lessons on how to play or how to improve your game with our on-location billiards pro. You will be able to choose 4′x8′ tournament dimension tables and play by the hour or use the coin-operated barroom-size tables instead.

The National Addiction Awareness Complex will host league play and have quarterly and annual tournaments of straight pool, 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball or race to 100, plus 1/4 bragging rights tournaments. Repairs can be made at our billiard store where new equipment can also be purchased. Membership benefits apply.

For an intellectual challenge, we will have chess tables available for players of all ages. Also available 24/7, our chess boards will offer young and old opportunities to attain national exposure with ranked tournaments. Join a league and determine your ranking or take a class if you’re new or still learning. A juniors league is open for younger players serious about this age-old classic board game, which challenges the mind and encourages strategic thinking.

Welcome to the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area!

Facility

Within a convenient walking distance for guests staying on the National Addiction Awareness Complex, the Attractions and Activities Area will be open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering food and fun in a completely drug-free atmosphere. All activities will have overhead lighting, unrestricting play to daylight hours. Additional offerings will include a hair salon, fitness center, billiard room, chess lounge and convenience store, it will be like having a neighborhood strip mall nestled in a safe-for-all environment.

Take in 9 or 18 holes on an Awareness Chip & Putt or Awareness Mini Golf course that will stay open 24/7, or if snow is covering the grounds, you can use the Awareness Driving Range or Awareness Batting Cage that will be open all four seasons, where you can practice your swing and be ready in time for the warm weather.

Act like or just be a kid in our Awareness Water Park, and if that isn’t thrilling enough there is an Awareness Zip Line for all ages that will get your pulse racing!

In between all these heart-pumping activities, our Awareness Restaurant’s Row will offer ice cream, hot dogs, pizza and fine or casual dining, with outdoor seating that is 100% free of smoking or vaping. Keeping with our sober atmosphere, alcohol is not on the menu.

Purpose

Between its services, spirited activity choices and refreshing dining options, the National Addiction Awareness Attractions & Activities Area truly will have it all for those in recovery and his or her loved ones, as well as students, educators, seniors and families.

Events / Functions

A Soap Box and Recovery Clubhouse will offer diversion for those in recovery visiting the Awareness Attractions & Activities Area, which also offers rental equipment.

Our administrative offices can be found on the 2nd floor of the Center, along with Counseling for those wanting to talk to someone and Drug Testing Services will be available for drug-free certification to get a new job or fulfill a court-ordered mandate.
